De fantasy film Willow was geen grote hit toen hij in 1988 uitkwam, maar is inmiddels een cult klassieker geworden. Nu, 34 jaar later, komt Disney+ met een serie die het verhaal voortzet. Nou ja, soort van, de serie speelt zich enkele tientallen jaren na de film af.
De trailer ziet er best smakelijk uit en we kijken altijd uit naar nieuw werk van Warwick David, die terugkeert als de tovenaar Willow Ufgood.

The story began with an aspiring magician from a Nelwyn village and an infant girl destined to unite the realms, who together helped destroy an evil queen and banish the forces of darkness.
